Pressure Washing Business

Preparing For Our Visit

Why Should I Have My Guy Clean My Roof?

The appearance of your roof can make or break it’s curb appeal.  Dark stains caused by algae, moss, lichen and debris can all significantly detract from the beauty of your home.

My Guy Services Certified Technicians use a low pressure, soft wash method to safely and effectively clean your roof.  The results are immediate, dramatic and long lasting!

What Do I Need To Do To Be Ready For My House Washing Service?

We just need a few simple things from you prior to your service:

  • Please make sure all windows and doors are shut tightly and locked up. We wouldn’t want to get any water inside your house!
  • Please make sure your pets are inside during the service.  We don’t offer pet bathing, so you’ll have to call someone else for that
  • We will need access to a functional exterior water source.
  • We recommend that you water your plants and landscaping thoroughly before and for several days after our visit.  It’s also a smart idea to add some extra fertilizer to your soil as needed.

Should I Be Concerned About My Plants And Landscaping?

Short answer: Yes.

Roof cleaning always carries an inherent risk to your landscaping and plant life.  We can’t guarantee that some of your landscaping will not be affected by the cleaning process (and you should seriously question any roof cleaning contractor who does make such aguarantee…)

What we do guarantee is that we’ll take every precaution possible to protect your plant life.  We also guarantee that if something negative does happen after your cleaning service, we will be there for you to help you get it rectified.

In order to mitigate as much risk as possible, we use a variety of strategies to protect landscaping and plant life:

  • Collection and/or diversion of run-off.
  • Dilution of over spray and run off before, during and after the job.
  • We apply a neutralizing agent to soil and plant life where necessary.

These precautions protect your plants as much as possible.  In the event that you do notice any issues after service, such as wilting or browning leaves, wilting flowers, etc., please give us a call.  We promise to take care of you!

What Do I Need To Do To Be Ready For My Window Cleaning Service?

We just need a few simple things from you prior to your service:

  • If we are only cleaning your outside windows, please make sure all windows and doors are shut tightly and locked up. We wouldn’t want to get any water inside your house!
  • If we are only cleaning your outside windows, please discuss any exterior screens with our scheduler.  Most outside screens need to be removed from inside, so we’ll have to co-ordianate with you on that.
  • Please make sure your pets are inside during the service.  We don’t offer pet bathing, so you’ll have to call someone else for that
  • We will need access to a functional exterior water source.
  • If you have any valuable items on your window sills or near your windows, it would be a good idea to move them to a safe place prior to our arrival.
  • Please move outdoor furniture a couple of feet away from any windows and doors you would like cleaned.  That will give out technicians room to work.

What If It Rains On The Day Of My Scheduled Service?

In order to stay on schedule, we do work in light rain situations.  We find that it’s rare for rain to affect clean windows, but it does happen sometimes.  No worries!  We offer the area’s only 2 Day Rain Guarantee.  If rain spots up your windows within two days of service, we will come back and touch up as needed at not cost to you!

  • Provide Access: Ensure that the installation team has easy access to all areas of the roof and gutters where the guards will be installed. Clear pathways and unlock gates if necessary.
  • Remove Valuables: If there are outdoor items, decorations, or equipment near the installation areas, consider moving them temporarily to prevent any potential damage during the installation process.
  • Secure Pets: If you have pets, ensure that they are secured indoors or in an area away from the installation site to prevent interference or accidents.

By taking these steps before gutter guards installation, you can contribute to a seamless process and help ensure that the gutter guards are properly installed and functioning as intended.

Concrete Sealing is a 2 Day job. We will clean your concrete on the first day and seal it the second day. By following these steps, you can keep your sealed concrete looking its best for many years to come!

  • Park cars on the street for days of service.
  • Remove any outdoor items, decorations or equipment near/in the area we will be sealing.
  • Secure Pets: If you have pets, ensure that they are secured indoors or in an area away from where we will be working to prevent interference or accidents.

To ensure a smooth and successful process for your Holiday Lights Installation, here are some things that we ask from you:

  • Clear the Area: Remove any obstacles, debris, or objects that might hinder the installation process. This includes furniture, plants, decorations, and other items that could get in the way of the lights.
  • Trim Trees and Shrubs: If the lights are going to be installed on trees or shrubs, trim them in advance to provide a clear and accessible surface for the installation. After installation is complete please refrain from any trim trimming or shrub trimming.
  • Provide Access: Ensure that the installation team has easy access to all areas where lights will be installed. This may involve unlocking gates, clearing pathways, and providing access to power outlets.
  • Outdoor Power Outlets: Identify and test outdoor power outlets to ensure they are functional.
  • Discuss Design Preferences: If the client has specific design preferences or ideas, it’s a good idea to discuss these with the installation team before the installation day. This will help ensure that the final result aligns with their vision.
  • Mowing the Grass: In some cases we do run electrical cord through the yard. Typically this is for trees, bushes, and everything away from the home. We do stake down the lines so they are not a tripping hazard but do want you to be aware that mowing the grass could cut lines and require repairs. If this happens, just let us know and we will be out there right aware to make any repairs as needed.
  • Communicate Special Requests: If there are any specific instructions or requests, such as focusing on certain areas or avoiding specific decorations, communicate these to the installation team in advance.
